Letters from Satisfied Customers
Clare Seiffert contacted me and asked if I might pass on a recommendation to a potential client. That is something that I most certainly will do.
I met Clare through her fan work for the "Beauty and the Beast" television show. I live in San Diego, California but I was attending a media convention in Las Vegas, where I saw her art displayed. Although she lives on the East coast I maintained contact with her, knowing I would have work for her eventually. Her work spoke for itself; here was fine professionalism.
The portraits of my niece and nephew that I eventually commissioned as a gift for my brother are still mentioned every Christmas. I worked with Clare on getting the appropriate photos from my sister-in-law, and it paid off. Her work was beautiful. Clare got the art back to me in a couple of weeks, after she received the photos, and that's a very quick response. When I showed her work to my friend Alan, he commissioned portraits of his two children. He still remarks on her quality and speed three years later. (He made more points with his wife that Christmas than with any other gift before or since.)
I can recommend Clare for any portrait work you may have in mind. You seldom find so much innate talent in an individual artist. I have seen her work in many media and she always excels.
I have been a designer and art director for the last twenty years and deal with artists regularly. Her meticulous attention to details and her honest desire to give good value to the client cause her to be exactingly professional. I feel her price is remarkably low for the quality she provides, and she's a good deal faster than many of my local artists.

I have known Clare Sieffert for perhaps two years. We met as a result of my woodturning and her need for a special piece for one of her egg creations. She has attended a number of events with the Blue Ridge Woodturners and shared some of her work with our membership.
Clare and I have visited each other in assisting with projects on several instances. I have found her to be incredibly gifted in a number of artistic directions. My wife and I have a charcoal drawing she did of our dog Meggie. We have shown it to many of our friends and the comments have all included how realistic it is.
Several said, "I expected for her to bark at me"! We have been thoroughly delighted with the picture.
In my association with Clare I have found her to be honest, dependable and professional in every way.

Howdy Folks,
This is especially for fellow Deer hunters, Rifleman, and Military Types. Bet most of you have encountered stock carvings in the usual motif, i.e. Deer jumping over fences, Big Horn Sheep peering down from lofty perches, Germanic Alpine Scenes, & Turkeys doing whatever they do etc. (I've even seen Jumping Frogs) Most of this is ho-hum pantograph type work and let's face it, would you trust someone to do it on one of your favorite gunstocks??
Boys and Girls there is light at the end of the tunnel if you've a mind to have a stock carved. If you'll go to Ms. Clare Sieffert's web site and scroll down (or up) her page on stock carvings you'll encounter a Remington Mod 700 stock with a Naval Officer's crest. Fellow Service members this is "MY" Remington Rifle and I take great pride in having had Ms. Clare do that carving on this particular stock. (My favorite rifle) The work speaks for itself, superb in layout and faultless in execution, let's face it this is a very complicated design. I can't think of anyone else who'd I'd entrust with such a project. Ms. Clare's indeed a true professional. Ms. Sieffert is a multi-talented Artist and a straight shooter as far as business dealings go, rest assured you'll be pleased with any transactions you might have with her.

My name is Joseph Rainone. If you are considering having Clare create something for you, it would be a very wise choice. I have known Clare for years, first meeting her when she lived in New York. She has done numerous projects for me and I have seen the breadth of her work.
In a word, she is Fantastic to say the least! She is a perfectionist by design and can work with all mediums as far as I can tell. She is extremely fair, honest and diligent. I wish I could monopolize her!
You will not be disappointed in anything you may be considering her to do and, I'll go as far to say, you will not find someone better or as reasonable. "Fine" art, is a lost art these days.
Please, feel free to email me with questions I might not have answered: PULP9860@aol.com
You will be very happy with your choice of Clare!!!

I was looking for a great holiday gift for my father and came across Clare's carving website, and am so happy that I did. The professionalism and quality was great! I was looking for a reasonably priced carving of a family name onto a gun stock. She replied back promptly with several ideas and examples within my budget. After a few selections, it was sent out, carved beautifully and returned promptly with time to spare before Christmas. I would recommend her to anyone interested in getting quality craftsmanship. She will work with you and make a very unique item.

After consultation, Ms. Clare Sieffert was commissioned to create clay/ceramic busts of my three grandchildren which were later to be cast in bronze by a foundry to be selected.
The completed works represented an extremely high quality of detail and the actual likeness of each was amazing. Each of the pieces displayed the sculptor's total sensitivity to form and perfection.
I would highly recommend Ms. Sieffert to anyone seeking a high degree of likeness and perfection in this medium.

I spent some time searching on the internet for a gunstock carver. I came across Clare’s website and was amazed on the carvings that she provided. I made contact with Clare via e-mail and made the decision to have her work on my father’s rifle.
Clare provide me with all information in a professional fashion prior to doing the carving. I gave her the specification on what design I wanted and we coordinated what the final product would look like before she started the carving. While Clare was working on the carving, she gave me updates on her progress. When the carving was completed and I received the gun stock, I was so pleased by the outcome. The whole transition went smoothly.
The carving is so beautiful, you have to see it in person to appreciate the precise detail of the carving. I was very impressed. I would recommend Clare to everyone looking to give, or enhance a special gift. It is a masterpiece and a one-of-a-kind treasure. I had the gun appraised and Clare’s carving brought the gun’s value up to $2,500, which was worth $600 prior the carving. It will now be a family heirloom for generations.
